Miley wants to invite aspiring designers to submit their best graphic artwork* for a hoodie. One winner will have the incredible opportunity to have their artwork produced and featured on Miley Cyrus' newest merchandise item, produced by MoJo.
The winner will receive a cash prize along with a specialized Facebook post and tweet to Miley's 26 million + fans. In addition, the winner, five runners-up and highest voted artist will have their winning submissions featured on mileycyrus.com for fellow fans to like, tag, share and comment on.
ARTWORK DESIGN
Artwork may consist of graphic designs, photographs, paintings, illustrations, drawings, or collages. All artwork must be original and submitted in high-res.
- Design must be designed to print on the back of the hoodie. Small logo to be printed in top left corner of the front of the hoodie.
- Submissions must be designed on the template provided.
MILEY CYRUS' CHOICE
The winning design will receive a cash prize of $1,500. In addition, the winner will receive:
- The first pressed merchandise item signed by Miley Cyrus
- A feature on Mileycyrus.com
- A framed copy of their artwork
- A featured post on Miley's social network sites (facebook, twitter) that will reach over 26 million fans
Five runners-up, as selected by Miley Cyrus, will each receive:

The OC Fashion Showcase (OCFS) is inviting fashion designers to submit original designs for inclusion in the Fall 2012 OC Fashion Showcase’s Outstanding Emerging Designer Competition, a juried event to be held during the upcoming OC Fashion Showcase. There is no fee to apply for or participate in the Outstanding Emerging Designer Competition.

OUTSTANDING EMERGING DESIGNER COMPETITION
The winner of the Outstanding Emerging Designer Award will be entitled to show at next season’s OC Fashion Showcase and will be entitled to additional prizes TBD
ELIGIBILITY
• The Fall 2012 OC Fashion Showcase is open to all designers ages 18 or above.
• Entries must be the exclusive work of the submitter or submitting team, completed within the last one year or created especially for this show.
• All works must be wearable objects to be modeled on a runway, and must exhibit unique, innovative, inspirational and creative artistry.
• This is a juried event. Evaluation will be based upon creative uniqueness, the originality of the work and the quality of the overall submission
REQUIREMENTS
Models for the runway show will be provided. Any designer-preferred models must be approved by the committee in advance. Designers must be willing to participate in collaboration with any and all OCFS staff in regard to video recording, interviews, blog postings, and any other supplemental activities deemed appropriate by the OCFS Public Affairs, New Media, or Textile and Fashion Arts departments.
Application form must accompany all submissions. The application is limited to six (6) looks; one or any may be used in the juried consideration. Submissions must be accompanied by high quality digital images or proposed in illustrations accompanied by written descriptions. All submissions should identify designer, contact information, and primary materials.
Each item must specify the category for which it is being submitted. Acceptable categories are:

For the second time MUUSE and VOGUE Talentsare teaming up to make designer dreams come true. MUUSE x VOGUE Talents - Young Vision Award is annually presented to a promising fashion designer with the potential to become a star. Winning designers are invited to join MUUSE, where they will receive free production, PR,Marketing and sales support, along with the opportunity to create a special RTW capsule collection produced and sold through MUUSE. In addition, the winning designer will be given an online feature on VOGUE Italia Talents.
How to enter the competition?

Vogue Talent's Fashion Editor Sara Maino will select the absolute winner among the finalists. She will be looking for a young talent with clear design vision and the potential to make a mark in the fashion world. The winner will be revealed Deceber 10th 2012.
Last years winner Heidi Paula will be launching her capsule collection with MUUSE in December. She is also working on her first full collection as an independent designer, which will be shown during Copenhagen Fashion Week AW 2013.

FASHION DESIGN STUDENT COMPETITION
Competition requirements:
For student designers to be eligible for participation in the competition, the following requirements must be met:
Student designer must be currently enrolled in a fashion design, fashion merchandising or fashion management program anywhere in Texas and internationally anywhere around the world.If chosen as a finalist, student designer must be able to produce and ship one outfit for the installation.
EMERGING FASHION DESIGNER COMPETITION
Competition Requirements:
For designers to be eligible for participation in the competition, the following requirements must be met:
Designer must be a graduate of an accredited fashion college from anywhere in the world.
Designer must be a graduate of an accredited fashion college from anywhere in the world.
Designer must have been in business for a minimum of one (1) year but less than (5) years continually designing collections with a minimum of two (2) collections per year.
Designer must produce a minimum of ten (10) pieces per collection.
Designer must be selling garments in at least one store.
JEWELRY DESIGNER COMPETITION
Competition Requirements:
For jewelry designers to be eligible for participation in the competition, the following requirements must be met:
Jewelry designer must have a minimum of 2 years experience in professional jewelry making and to have been in business for less than 5 years.

Domus Academy in partnership with Future Concept Lab and The Deborah Group competition is open to all those who have an educational background or developed prior experience in the fashion/accessories sector, and that are interested in enrolling in the 2013 edition (from January to December) of either the Masters in Fashion Design or Accessories Design at Domus Academy.

Oriental trends have been prominent on the A/W 2012 catwalk with many designers leaning on the bold and opulent oriental prints to create drama in their collections. Florals, birds, dragons and fish are just some of the topics that feature heavily in such prints, always presented in distinctive colour ways that are both strong and at the same time delicate. For this project we want you to draw inspiration from this print theme to create beautiful and contemporary designs to be used on our range of scarves.

Here is Uniqlo's UT (UNIQLO T-shirt) Grand Prix 2013 annual T-shirt design contest. Participants from around the world turn T-shirts into creative works of art.
Music is the theme of the UT Grand Prix 2013 T-shirt design contest, with six very popular artists set to participate. AC/DC, David Bowie, Madonna, KISS, the Sex Pistols and members of The Who will personally select the winning entries, with each artist responsible for choosing the six Artist’s Choice Award winners.The competition is open to anyone, regardless of age, gender or nationality. Entries will be accepted from all countries around the world.

The Arts of Fashion Foundation competition is open to students studying Fashion and Design anywhere in the world during the academic year 2012-2013. Participants will not only represent themselves, but also their Schools, Colleges or Universities, as well as their Countries.
To participate in the International Arts of Fashion Competition, applicant should register online. After confirmation of registration, applicant would have to submit drawings of a mini collection of three outfits in menswear, womenswear, or a mixed collection of both men's and women's wear.
1. THE ARTS OF FASHION COMPETITION EXISTS TO:
Promote and reward creativity and inventiveness; discover emerging talent and facilitate careers; establish enriching contacts and exchanges between different countries, schools and universities; and to foster new relationships between those from different industries and fields.
The laureates received Awards and a Certification for their creative and original work based on theme. (Judging based on coherence with the theme, skill level, creativity and artful expressiveness).

The Domus Academy and Vogue Talents want to motivate young talents thinking out of the box, eager to make an intensive experience in the Italian design culture, offering three scholarships to attend the 2013 edition of the Master in Fashion Design and three scholarships to attend the 2013 edition of the Master in Accessories Design: one scholarship covering 70%, one covering 50% and one covering 30% of the total tuition fee of the Master Program.
The Master Program in Fashion Design proposes an integrated approach between cultural, design, production, marketing and communication aspects through a dialogue with experts of the field. The program is designed to contribute to the development of professionals able to express their creativity and face the new challenges coming from the Fashion world. The Master Program in Accessories Design, on the other side,provides a wide view on accessories in their different domains: from leather goods to costume jewelry, in line with the increasing need of the market to have specialized designers with a fashion advanced approach.
In order to participate, the candidates have to:
- hold a first-level academic diploma or BA degree, or be about to graduate within the academic year 2011/12 and have a knowledge of the English language
- send a personal portfolio/personal collection (man or woman), including a 500 words abstract on the research inspiring the collection, sketches of the collection including technical references (minimum 15 sketches), pictures of the outfits (minimum 3);
- send a curriculum vitae: maximum 1 A4 page;
- send a statement of purpose: maximum 5 lines on an A4 page;
- candidates for Accessories Design are asked to include an accessories collection in their personal portfolio.
Any further attached material will be considered a plus and will be evaluated by the jury.
The candidates are asked to send their materials in one sole file in .PDF format.
The works must be mailed to Domus Academy by and not later than August 31st,2012.
